Overview

With scheduled content delivery on up to four channels, the Firefly MC is an extremely versatile player. The integrated SmartCard reader provides enhanced security and makes it easy to add options such as Dolby DigitalT downmixed audio and genlocked external AV input. Content updating is available via automated FTP, HTTP, CD/DVD, or multicast.

The Firefly MC works with Focus media delivery software, including Media Messenger® and DART for convenient scheduling and content distribution. Player parameters can be easily configured via TCP/IP using WebViewT-a built-in browser-based interface-or through serial controls. The Firefly MC supports SNMP, multicasting via satellite, terrestrial multicasting, and content updating via FTP or HTTP.
